Assuming that by "this" you mean the attacks of July 7th on the London Tube and bus system, and assuming that by "suicide attacks" you mean "attacks in which the attackers expect to die and carry out the attacks in a manner likely to assure their own deaths," and assuming that by "the west" you mean "Europe and the United States," then ...
