The Only Thing Wrong About Donald Trump's Pardon of Changpeng Zhao ...

... is that Zhao committed nothing resembling a real crime, shouldn't have been charged, shouldn't have been jailed, and therefore shouldn't need a "pardon."


In other words, he didn't spy on his customers for the US government. Nobody should spy on their customers for the US government, and not doing so isn't a "crime," it's baseline ethical behavior.

Good on Trump. Hopefully he'll pardon the equally un-guilty Ian Freeman, too.
